The Birth Control Series

The series premiered on September 26th, 2020, and featured new work by 5 artists from around the world. The work created for The Birth Control Series is inspired by real lived experiences with birth control in all its forms.
The process of creating and producing the work was the most rewarding part of the project. We created a safe and open space to discuss subjects like PCOS, pregnancy, mental health, menstruation, and communication. Writers, actors, directors and visual artists involved connected through shared experiences, empathetic creation, and understanding. Audiences that watched and donated felt seen or enlightened.
